The entire team at Independence In Motion is amazing! From sales to process to tech, they are passionate about helping people. They helped us through the entire process of finding the right power wheelchair and shepherding us through all the red tape of acquiring his power wheelchair and helping my dad get his independence back. This has improved his life dramatically! They even delivered the wheelchair to his house and showed him how to use it in his own home!

I took my 91 year old mom into the shop last week. Sean was patient and knowledgeable and made the process stress free. Her needs were addressed and the recommendations were perfect for her. Her chair arrived the next day and she is thrilled with it. Due to heart in failure, she has to sleep on an incline abs not flat. Night one sleeping in the chair was her first good night’ s sleep in ages. I can’t speak highly enough about this store because of the warm, personalized care.

Great for Repairs! I bought a lift chair online and wish I didn’t. No service, but I called Independence In Motion. They came out THAT DAY and got the chair working again. We’re only at the beginning of the process of getting a motorized wheelchair for my father, but I’m already so pleased with the customer service of Independence In Motion that I couldn’t wait to rave about them. We started out trying to work with another medical supply company recommended by his doctor. Those people don’t answer their phone, don’t call back, and are impossible to work with. When trying to get a lift chair for my father, we gave up on that company and bought one on Amazon. THREE WEEKS LATER is when they finally returned our call about the lift chair. Our attempts to get him a wheelchair were heading down the same path – unanswered calls, put on hold for eternity, no return calls – so I looked for an alternative and found Independence In Motion. My goodness, they actually answer their phone! And a friendly, helpful person is there to answer questions when you call! We called at the end of the day on Friday, and Tuesday afternoon someone was at his apartment to help determine what he needs. It’s such a relief to feel that Dad’s in good hands with Independence In Motion.

I have been confined to a Powerchair for over 15 years. Each new chair purchase was a nightmare until I discovered Independence in Motion. The process was flawless. I received my new chair within 3 weeks. It was perfect. This company worked with the manufacturer to see every detail was addressed. About 2 months later there was a problem with the seat cushion. This company has worked with the manufacturer to resolve the problem. They kept me informed and never stopped until the issue was resolved. I have never worked with a company who was so dedicated to seeing that the customer was completely satisfied. I would rate them 10 stars if there was such a rating.

My mom and I visited Independence in Motion to learn more about walkers and scooters. We worked with Cynthia, the owner of the business and an RN. It was one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had. Cynthia was extremely knowledgeable about the marketplace and very patient with us as she answered our questions, demonstrated the products and helped my mom find a solution that was right for her. In short, Cynthia was engaged in the process and, more importantly, made sure my mom was engaged and felt comfortable with the product she ultimately selected. I think it’s important to recognize people and businesses when they go above and beyond, and Independence in Motion did just that!

Great scooter store! They have many models to try out in the showroom. I was helping my friend’s dad out who wanted it that day and they delivered it after 5, which he really appreciated since he wanted it for his vacation in Disney. We should not have waited until the last minute, but they were happy to help us. Nice people. Not a hard sell, they are there more to provide information. I highly recommend the store.

The nurse, Cynthia, got to know everything about me and made sure that I got the power wheelchair that was best for me and my needs. She provided options that I never knew existed. When it was delivered, the technician spent careful time making sure everything was perfect and that I knew how to use and care for the chair. They care about people, not about money. I purchased two lift chairs from Independence In Motion. The lady who works there really knows how to find the best chair for you. They went over all of the features and material choices. I have one upstairs and one in my living room. You will want one everywhere you sit. Great company and great service if there is a problem.
